Free Webinar: Navigating Peer Review as a First-Time Reviewer
Xpertia Publishing is hosting a free online webinar for early-career researchers taking on peer review responsibilities for the first time.
Date: Tuesday, March 25, 2026 | 14:00–15:30 UTC
Who should attend: Doctoral researchers, postdoctoral fellows, and early-career academics who have recently been invited to review a manuscript or are interested in becoming active peer reviewers.
The webinar will cover what editors expect in a review report, how to structure constructive criticism, navigating conflicts of interest, managing timelines, and understanding the ethical responsibilities that come with confidential review work. A live Q&A session will follow the presentations.
Speakers include senior editors from three of our partner journals as well as a researcher who completed their first review assignment within the past six months and will share a candid first-person account of the experience.
Registration is free and open to all. Participants who complete the session will receive a digital certificate of participation that can be added to their academic CV. To register, visit the Events section on our website or contact us directly.
