Monitors appointment procedures, conflicts, ownership boundaries, and the safeguards that protect editorial decisions from commercial pressure.

Responsibilities

  1. Editorial independence

    Protect the authority of editors to decide on scholarly merit, free from owner or commercial influence over individual articles.

  2. Transparency

    Ensure editorial policies, peer-review processes, and decision criteria are publicly documented.

  3. Accountability

    Ensure every editorial role has defined responsibilities, performance expectations, and ethical obligations.

  4. Cross-journal oversight

    Provide strategic governance across all journals and maintain cross-journal integrity policies.

  5. Editor performance and conflicts

    Monitor editor performance, manage conflicts of interest, and support editor training and integrity screening.

This body exists within Xpertia’s governance architecture. Its charter, leadership, and membership are being formalised, and we are inviting qualified scholars to serve. Members are published here only once they have formally agreed to serve.
